Aretha May lose her Mansion
Queen Aretha Franklin could lose her home to tax collectors. Aretha claims that it's due to her attorney's mistake, which has caused her $700,000 mansion in Detroit to slip into foreclosure over $445 in 2005 taxes and late fees. However the The Detroit Free Press reports Thursday the Queen owes a total of $19,192 in back taxes on the property through 2007. Queen Franklin says she plans to pay up and reclaim it by it's March 31 deadline. Why was she worrying about Beyonce calling Tina Turner "Queen" when she's about to lose her Home? another case of people worrying about the wrong things
