Barack

Obama gave a speech regarding the nation's racial divide, Tuesday morning. His speech is already being referred to by some political commentators as well as witnesses as "historic"Obama addressed the issue of Rev. Jeremiah Wright, directly while putting it in the broader context of race relations in America. I loved how Obama outlined the contradiction within the U.S. Constitution that embraces freedom, yet supported the institution of slavery. he also explained the history of social and political rhetoric often preached in the black church.
A fellow blogger from the Washington Post said it perfectly "Don’t be paralyzed by history, but acknowledge its effects. Recognize that whites have legitimate grievances that are not racist. Don’t cling to victimhood as an all-purpose excuse. Accept personal responsibility."
