Serena and Venus Williams Getting Heat For Not Voting

For some reason people are finding a reason to have something to say about Venus and Serena Williams because they don’t vote! Serena recently had to set the record straight, that It’s not that they have no interest in American politics; its because of their religion. “I’m a Jehovah’s Witness, so I don’t get involved in politics,” Serena explains. “We stay neutral. We don’t vote.”

Also Congrats to The Williams Sisters, they are both heading to the Wimbledon finals

So, Serena Williams would vote for Baruch Obama if the rules of her WatchTower religion would allow her to do so. I would suggest to Serena that she purchase a real Bible, read such, and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, in which she will also develop internalized values that do not rely on a rulebook such as the one that she lives by, but obviously does not understand and/or fully believe.

Either Serena Williams was disingenuous with her "politics" answer, or she doesn't understand why Jehovah's Witnesses supposedly don't get involved in politics.
