Don Cheadle has signed a two-year production deal with parent company Universal Media Studios. Cheadle's Crescendo Productions will develop series projects for the studio. Crescendo recently signed a two-year feature deal with Overture Films, where they have produced films such as "Traitor" and the documentary "Darfur Now" and is developing a biopic of musician Miles Davis. Cheadle was a producer of the Oscar-winning movie "Crash" and is serving as an executive producer of the Starz/Lionsgate series of the same name, which is based on the film. Cheadle also stars in "Hotel for Dogs" which opens today
