Congrats to Sophie Okonedo and directer Anthony Fabian, their newest project "Skin" won both the jury favorite and audience favorite award at the 17th annual Pan African Film Festival, Monday in Culver City. "Skin" is the true story of Sandra Laing, who was born of white parents in apartheid South Africa, who looked black. Tormented and unaccepted by white society though classified as white, she falls in love with a black man and moves to a township, alienating her parents.
