Jr Smith deleted his twitter account just hours before The Denver Post raised questions about whether his tweets were written in a way commonly associated with street gangs.Smith's tweets as well as some other things he's said and done outside of Twitter has raised a lot of eyebrows. Apparently someone noticed that on his twitter account he would occasionally replace words that would have a "C" in them with a "K," giving some people the impression of an association with the Bloods street gang. (Kudos for the capital "C" jab above, kid.)
Smith tried to correct the issue in a tweet late Monday night, but ultimately decided to close the account.
NBA and NFL have been for sometime now trying to rid players of publicly displaying gang related hand signs, etc. However player are not getting the message.
I just don't get the these idiots anymore!! I LOVE sports but i have no respect for a lot of the players.. They don't understand, you have an opportunities that's one and a million. And you will do anything to blow it.
