Since we are on the topic of Black Hair, I had to post this after watching. Black hair is a Billion dollar business to those who do not know. This documentary was done by Aron Ranen and it is amazing. I personally, dont spend much on hair products, weaves, and perms, because I'm natural and i'll cut my hair off, when i get tired of wearing a ponytail. It holds no POWER over me at all. Anyone that knows me can tell you! But i do have plenty of friends, who think they would be nothing without their hair. I just feel, when you think your nothing without it, your nothing with it as well! For me, my hair has a more curly texture. So, there isn't much maintenance and all i need is a little water and grease for some shine. I have had perms in the past, I will admit i've never had a bad experience with them. I think i got my first perm in the 8th grade. I had one through out high school, because i think it was cool to say, "I have a perm!" But once i got to college, i probably got one three times in my matriculation in school, all the way up til now. I like being natural. Everything is not for everyone however.
