Lara Stone is Black on Vogue Paris!!

I'm not to sure how i feel about these photos. Not because i AM a black woman. But because there are so many black models that could have done this shoot. The shots are so basic. Maybe they are trying to show the versatility in Lara as a model. Or add a little drama.. I really don't know, nor am i understanding the angle of which the shoot is coming from! I don't see why they didn't use a black model. Not sure what sort of statement they were trying to make here.

Yeah, black models are already having trouble getting high fashion opportunities. This reminds me of Vaudeville when they didn't want to use black actors so they painted the white ones black. Maybe they were making a statement but I WON'T buy the issue:( Sorry:)
