Marie Ndiaye Wins the Prestigious Prix Goncourt

Congrats to French-Senegalese author Marie Ndiaye, she recently won France's top literary award for her novel "Trois Femmes Puissantes" ("Three Powerful Women"). A story about the interweaving lives of three women set in France and Senegal. Not only did she win but she is the first woman to earn the prestigious Prix Goncourt since 1998. And get this the prize is ONLY worth 10 euros ($14.80) in cash, but she will get much more in publicity-generated sales.
