Russell And Kimora Have Worked things Out!

Kimora Lee and Russell Simmons have finally worked out their custody battle for daughters Ming & Aoki Lee. According to reports Russell has agreed to pay $20,000/month for each child until they’re 19, he will supply them with a car worth no less than $60k and it will be replaced every 3 years until they’re 16, and they must have a nanny AND a security guard with them at all times when they’re visiting. Russell is will also get monitored visitation every eighth week in the school year and various holidays.

When asked who is the real Beyonce:
“I’m a daughter, I’m a friend, I’m a wife, I’m a sister. All those things first. I’m artist. I’m a businesswoman. I’m multifaceted. I’m a lover. I’m inspired by love. I make decisions from the heart.”
When she makes decisions about what projects to do, her priority is not money but personal growth:

“He was very successful before I met him and I was very successful before I met him. So we have so much respect for each other, and respect for each other artistically. We are very close friends, and I believe he is the ultimate artist and he has the same feelings for me.”
Describing herself as a wife:
“I don’t know how to talk about it because I don’t like to talk about it. But I have a great example of a great wife, and that’s my mother. And I have great friends around me that have been married, so I’m lucky to have really good examples. And a great husband.”
One thing she does to get on his nerve:
“I’m a little messy. Oh, yeah. Whenever I’m out in public, I have to be put together. When I get home, I rebel against it and I don’t want to take care of anything. I drop it. I’m relaxed. I don’t have any shoes on. No makeup. My purse is in the kitchen. I think that is most difficult thing for him. He’s very, very organized. I’m extremely organized when I’m working, and I work so much that when I get home I don’t want to think about anything.”
As for what Jay-Z does that get on her nerves:
“I won’t say.”

Beyonce does however say that; She is learning to cook and he’s getting over his single-guy habits.

Usher attended a hearing on improving America’s commitment to service and volunteerism at the House Education and Labor Committee hearing room in Washington, DC. Usher joined New Look Foundation President Shawn Wilson and spoke with Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY) and Rep George Miller (D-CA) before the hearing.

Tyrese is Getting Divorced!

Tyrese and his wife Norma are headed back to court March 2nd. According to some court documents that have leaked Norma has filed papers to modify their custody and spousal support arrangement. As we all know Tyrese has never really discussed his wife. However here's a Little background, her name is Norma Mitchell Gibson, they met in London 7 years ago and he moved her back to America with him. They had a daughter and got married in 2007. Now after only 10 months, Tyrese decided he wanted out, according to Norma’s court filing.Norma is seeking modification of their custody arrangement as well as a change in child & spousal support, as well as attorney fees.

According to the court documents, Norma claims Tyrese was an absentee-father who didn’t support her or their daughter. She claims after they were married they started arguing and he would become angry, aggressive and leave for days.

Norma says after Tyrese filed for divorce, he cut her and their child off without any money. She moved to the U.S. Tyrese’s request and she is only in the country on a visa. She says she is by herself, she has few friends here, her mother is in Israel and her father is in London. Her first language is Hebrew. She claims that she has to borrow money to make ends meet because the $5,000 Tyrese has started to give her since she retained her lawyer, is not enough.

She also claims that since Tyrese got her and the baby accustomed to the finer things in life, $5000 can’t continue that lifestyle.

California Mayor Under Fire After "No Easter Egg Hunt This Year" Email

The mayor of Los Alamitos, California is under fire after sending out this email to several members of his community titled No Easter Egg Hunt This Year depicting watermelons on the White House’s front lawn. Local businesswoman and city volunteer Keyanus Price who is black says and got the email says:

“I have had plenty of my share of chicken and watermelon and all those kinds of jokes. I honestly don’t even understand where he was coming from, sending this to me. As a black person receiving something like this from the city-freakin’-mayor - come on.”

While the Mayor Dean Grose’s responded in an email to AP:

“Bottom line is, we laugh at things and I didn’t see this in the same light that she did. I’m sorry. It wasn’t sent to offend her personally - or anyone - from the standpoint of the African-American race.”

Something tells me, that people are now just trying to get a little fame.

William Balfour Lawyer Quits

The Chicago Sun-Times has reported that attorney Joshua Kutnick has decided to withdraw as attorney for William Balfour, who is charged with the murders of Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and nephew. Kutnick says he does believe Balfour is innocent however, he cannot afford to handle the financial burden of such a high-profile case alone.

Jazmine Will Star Alongside Ne-Yo in Upcoming Film About The Tuskegee Airmen

Congrats to Jazmine Sullivan, she just landed a role in director Anthony Hemingway's "Red Tails." Which is a new movie about Tuskegee Airmen. "I play a singer who entertains soldiers," says Sullivan to Billboard. "I'm really just entertainment for them, but I kind of get a little relationship going with one of them. So that's very exciting." The upcoming movie will also star Ne-yo. Jazmine also told Billboard that she has a TV project in the works but says she can't reveal details yet.

"Push" Has Been Renamed to "Precious"

So that people will not get Lee Daniels new film "Push" confused with the new Dakota Fanning and Djimon Hounsou film of the same name, the movie has been renamed "Precious," after the film's lead character.

Congrats to Deborah Cox and her husband Lascelles Stephens, In Touch Weekly is reporting that the happy couple welcomed in a 7-pound, 7-ounce baby girl Kaila Michelle this morning. The couple, have been married for almost 11 years and have two other children, 5-year-old Isaiah and Sumayah, 2.

Jackie Christie New Clothing Line and Book!

Jackie Christie, wife of NBA star Doug Christie, has a new clothing line and a new book on the way. Christie's new line titled "Colored Girl", will hit stores on May 9, just before the debut of her third book, "Proud to Be a Colored Girl." Her line will initially be available on-line and in stores located in Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, and Atlanta GA. Proceeds from the line will support the couple's Infinite Love Foundation, which supports single mothers and impoverished families.

Joel Madden announced on the Web site of his band Good Charlotte, that he and Nicole Richie are expecting another baby.

"Madea Goes To Jail" Dominates The Box Office

Tyler Perry has done it yet again! According to reports "Madea Goes to Jail" dominated the weekend box office, opening with $41.1 million. It is also said to be the highest grossing film ever for both Perry and the film's studio, Lionsgate.

Steve Rothenberg, president of distribution at Lionsgate said the debut of "Madea" was the studio's best opening in its 14-year history. The studio's previous top opening was the $33.6 million debut of 2006's "Saw III."

The show will have designers compete in challenges that will be judged by professionals in fashion as well as by the studio audience.
