17 year old Zewdy has been a HUGE Youtube success! She has over 20,000 subscribers and she was recently signed to an independent label called EN-Treeg Records. Zewdy is the daughter of musician Habte Awalom. Born in New York City and raised in Union, New Jersey, Zewdy sharpened her talent on a Karaoke machine purchased by her singer/song writer father, Habtce Awalom. In an effort to reach more with her incredible talent, in 2007 Zewdy began posting video blogs and cover performances of hits like Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable” Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance", Jazmine Sullivan's "I need you bad" and Amy Winehouse's "Rehab".
