According to The Hollywood Reporter, the ever so cute Tyler Posey (Lincoln Heights, Maid in Manhattan, Brothers and Sisters) will take on the role of Scott McCall, a dorky high-school student who gains a slew of new powers after being attacked by a wolf - including the gift of attracting girls. The original film was a PG plot, MTV Senior Vice President Liz Gateley hinted the series might be a bit darker. "It has a fresh take and is very different from the original," Gateley previously said. "It has more of an 'American Werewolf in Paris' feel to it."I am so happy with how Tyler's career is progressing. He's playing different character. I'm so happy for him. I've been a fan since he was Jennifer Lopez's son in Main in Manhattan..
