Fantasia Dropped From Her Management Company

Fantasia was apparently dropped from her management comapny, (19 Management) due to poor record sales. Although the first album Free Yourself, sold almost 2 million copies, and the follow-up went gold and garnered three Grammy nominations. As well as Fantasia starring in her own Lifetime TV biopic, authored a book about her rags-to-riches story, and received top billing in the Broadway production of The Color Purple. The reason for the split, according to some sources, is "creative differences." However, like many other Idol contestants, Fantasia remains on the labels 19 Recordings and will continue to share music sales profits with the company.

Why would a Management company drop someone for poor record sales? The management company still gets paid, it doesn't matter how many records you sell.
One has nothing to do with the other.

She still has her recording contract with J Records.
