Smokey Robinson Will Be Honored By The AMEES
Smokey Robinson, will be honored by the AMEES. who recognize members of AFTRA who have made a significant contribution to American culture. Robinson will get the AMEE Award in Sound Recordings during the 2009 AFTRA Media and Entertainment Excellence Awards. Other honorees include "Young and the Restless" actress Jeanne Cooper (Katherine Chancellor), broadcaster Vin Scully and Don LaFontaine, "King of Voiceovers," will be posthumously presented with a special tribute.
