Noise Pollution

It's easy to complain. At times it feels good to vent your frustrations and concerns. We all do it; however, when do we stop to realize that we may be complaining too much? There are plenty of things all around us every day that we find fault with, which is be expected in an imperfect world. If we really think about it, we have the ability to erradicate many day-to-day problems by counteracting them with solutions. Now, this does not mean that we must go around being bossy, judgemental, or telling others what to do. This simply means the effort and energy that it takes to acknowledge a problem, dwell on it, and complain about it, you can spend the same energy doing the total opposite. Acknowledge the problem, and then try to find a solution. Here is the kicker- if you cannot come up with a solution, don't say anything. Period. By not feeding into a particular problem, it cannot grow. But by feeding into a solution, you can alieviate or eliminate the problem all together. We have the power in our minds to re-create anything that we choose to, but we must choose. Do not pollute the atmosphere with words of complaint. It is contagious and bad for the human spirit. If you feel that it is impossible to stop complaining, then it is time to be more concious of your thinking pattern. Understand that everything will never be perfect, but in that it wil create an opportunity to always think of a better way. Don't take the power of choice for granted!
