I don't know how i came across Blu but when i did I automatically want to know more. Blu is a rapper and producer from San Pedro, California. Many people may already know him from his debut album, Below the Heavens. Word is he passed on signing with Interscope and Death Row to sign with a LA based independent label Sound in Color in 2004. Blu was named Rookie of the Year in 2007 by HipHopDX and named XXL magazine's Top 10 Freshmen of 09! He's work with Talib Kweli, Kid Cudi, Johnson&Jonson, The late great J.DILLA and many others.(Blu & Exile "Blu Collar Workers")
