Dj Mars, Bril Ndiaye and Maurice Garland, along with kickstarter.com have partnered to bring you,"The Art Behind The Tape". The first ever coffee table book detailing the history of mixtape cover art. This book will detail and highlight the progression of mixtape cover art, from the Kid Capri era to the Dj Drama(Gangsta Grillz)classics.

Have you ever wondered who was the first dj to actually have a fully designed mixtape cover? Or who were the first dj's to stop using the Kinko's styled covers? "THE ART BEHIND THE TAPE" will answer all of those questions and more.

The first book ever written to exclusively discuss mixtapes, cannot be done without your help. Kickstarter is the platform but you all are the gas that's going to make this car go.
