Tracee Ellis Ross

I have a lot of conversations with women and men about natural hair. It is funny all of the BS I hear that people make up, let alone believe. I was once the very shy girl and in many areas of my life I am still a bit shy. However, when I decided to embrace my natural beauty; skin, body, and especially my hair something changed in me that I have never been able to explain. It was as if I gained this confidence and this resilience over night. Some people don't understand natural hair and some people just are not ready to. But when you take a chance on doing away with something that has so much power over how you view your own beauty, you will never look back. Trust me it's not easy being kinky but it's life changing!
