WHO CARES: Beyonce’s ‘I Am…Yours’ DVD Will Be on ABC Thanksgiving night

I don't know if I'd care to watch this. Where I’m confused at,is why they would air the concert two days after the DVD drops. To each it's own, but i wouldn't buy it if i could just record it. I guess. Is it me or does anyone else notice how Beyonce's career isn't lasting as long as some would have thought? Maybe it's because she's now married. Its a known fact that when you marry in entertainment your stock goes completely down. Not to say it's not but its sure looking that way and it seems the media is trying to help her out in saving herself. (This special, MTV awards, Her all of a sudden publicized humanitarian work, and the giving away of a MASSIVE amount of free tickets to her recent shows because they aren't selling) I've always LOVE Beyonce's hustle, but the singing gets to be too over done, I would prefer if she wasn't half naked ALL THE TIME, and i'd really like her if she acted as if she was a little more articulate. Personally i don't own any of her albums besides "Dangerously in Love" Real talk, I've download a couple of songs. She's just never caught on with me. I have a lot of friends that LOVE her but she's never been my kind of artist. She's to predictable, no personality and she lacks a lot. I just can't get into an artist who has herself stated that she's never had many life experience but trying to tell me, to tell my man "To the left, To the left".. But to each it's own again. The first album was the best and after that it became so repetitive and fake i was no longer interested. I do think she's a Beautiful girl, with what use to be a great body. She's to skinny now! I have told people this several time and it causes arguments but quote me when i say this "Her name will last longer than her career." That basically goes for a lot of these artist out now. Its so sad that our generation got the short end of the stick when it comes to music/artistry. She's is the most entertaining and people love that, Hell i do! That's what keeps our attention. She was seeking to planted her foot into being an ICON on this album but NO ONE seeks to be ICONs. They just are, She will be an ICON in a sense but not like Whitney, Mariah, Barbara, Micheal Jackson. It just irritated me that when Mj passed people were like she's the next MJ. It won't happen. Sorry, i just feel some kind of way! Not to mention you marry one of the biggest rapper/mogul in the industry and your basically considered a trophy to his empire by media outlets and regular people. Some women enjoy being trophy wives, but i just never got that from her. Then again i don't know her. But i think so much of her has been sucked out to be someone for us that she has no clue what personality to show. She may be the coolest chick behind and away from camera. No one still knows, who she is or have a sense. Not to say that is important but it's part of why artist like Monica are getting reality shows so that fans could know more of her.

So at first i was not going to check out the show. One because i thought it would be a repeat of her previous show of the same titled on Peachtree TV. Two because I've always been a HUGE Monica fan , i own every album and i needed no more visuals to say she's a great artist. But i wanted to give it a chance. I must admit.. I was blown away and i was were grateful to be able to see an Artist so positive and spiritual. I love the take of the show, it's not BET usual BS. I love what she stands for and i RESPECT her morals and values. Her choice to make GOD and FAMILY first. Over any amount of money or fame, says so much in this day and age! I'm so glad she not like some artist who have been sucked dry in personality, honesty and loyalty. She is a great role model to kids and she is very humble. Through all that she has been through she is STILL STANDING and i, for one am PROUD! MONICA I LOVE YOU!

Killer charged in UCONN Player Jasper "Jazz" Howard's Murder

John William Lomax III, 21, was arrested Tuesday morning and charged with murder of 20-year-old University of Connecticut football player Jasper "Jazz" Howard, who was stabbed to death outside of a school-sanctioned dance. While Lomax is being charged with the murder, Hakim Muhammad, 20, will also be charged with conspiracy to commit assault and Jamal Todd, 21, will be charged with pulling the fire alarm that was fired on the dance floor as well as triggering the fight. Andre Agassi Confesses to Meth Use

Tennis champion Andre Agassi has just made a shocking revelation that has a lot of people going crazy. According to a publicist for Knopf Publishing House, in a new autobiography about his life, Andre will reportedly confess to using meth during his tennis career. Excerpts from the book are being held extremely tight, but they will appear in an upcoming issue of Sports Illustrated.

Andre Agassi retired in 2006 after 20 years as a professional tennis player. His career record was 870-274. Guess he had a little help along the way. The autobiography, entitled Open, will be available in Nov.

RocAwear Selling Shirts to Raise Money For Breast Cancer

Jay-Z's Rocawear line has teamed up with the Susan G. Komen For The Cure charity to release special edition shirts called Roc For The Cure Polo. They will donate 5% of sales through December 31, 2009 to the breast cancer organization. The minimum guaranteed donation from the brand however is $20,000. Proceeds will specifically benefit the Susan G. Komen For The Cure, Circle of Promise' campaign, which targets African American women. The Roc for the Cure Polo is cotton and spandex with a five snap closure and ruching at bust. Jeffry Picower Found Dead In Swimming Pool!

Jeffry Picower was found dead at the bottom of his swimming pool at his Florida home over the weekend. To those that do not know he is an associate of Bernie Madoff. Picower was said to have raked in an estimated $7 Billion dollars from the Bernie Madoff Ponzi scheme as well as facing charges as well. Though he has denied any wrongdoing or knowledge of the ponzi scheme, he was sued in an effort to recoup lost funds. Police are currently looking into the cause of his death.

I realized as i listened to Hilary's last album "Dignity" that i had not posted anything on my beloved friend since July, when she was named as a Youth Ambassador to the children of the Colombian capital, Bogota. I noticed she's been doing a lot of acting on shows like Gossip Girl, Law & Order: SVU, and Ghost Whisperer. I am proud of her for that but I'm in need of some music soon. I understand she is working on several new movies to hit theatres next year but what about the music? I know you guys are like "Why do you like her" But i love the fact that she has grown into a wonderful young LADY and is not out wasting her fortune and fame on Bull sh*t. So Hilary if you see this, here's to you... WE NEED NEW MUSIC! But until then, she is this weeks "Style Hit of The Week"

Russian Roulette producer Responds To Tiffany Evans

Rihanna’s “Russian Roulette” producer Chuck Harmony has responded to singer Tiffany Evans, after a controversial Twitter rant about the music industry.

"There are no satanic messages in the music. Maybe if we did a remake of ‘Promise Ring’ (Tiffany’s hit single), then Rihanna wouldn’t be a devil worshipper (sic).

People are so closed minded. The song is not literal. Like most provocative art, its symbolism. Grow up. I’m never going to defend my art…I create it and then it’s out of my hands. So reviews don’t hurt me, but Tiffany’s unrealistic take on the song really urked me because idiots breed idiots. Bottom line, she is in the music business so she understands that the song is not indicative of the artist views, but rather, it’s the brainchild and vision of the songwriter and producer.

With that being said, to use that song as a shining example of devil worship in the music business, you are saying that Ne-yo and Chuck Harmony are devil worshippers (sic). Thats stupid!! That’s beyond stupid it’s immature. Artist should understand art. So with Tiffany Evans rant, I can safely say that the title artist should not be part of her bio. "

Wow, I understand his statement. But i think he missed Tiffany's whole point. She didn't necessary focus on Rihanna, she focused on the music industry as a whole.
